New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 5, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Aaron Paul Landry, 42, who passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, in New Iberia.
Pastor Gabe Smith, Associate Pastor of Our Savior's Church, will be the Officiant.
Interment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery in Jeanerette.
A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, and will continue on Monday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
A lifelong resident of New Iberia, Aaron Paul Landry was born on January 21, 1976 to Lynn Joseph Landry and the late Kyle June Burchfield Landry. He was a Master Machinist. He loved fishing and hunting with his father. As a boy, he was an excellent baseball player. Aaron talked about his three son’s all of the time and expressed his love for them, oh so very often. He will be so deeply missed by family and friends.
Aaron is survived by his father and step-mother, Lynn J. and Karla Landry of New Iberia; sons, Ty Landry of Newnan, GA, Lleyton Landry of New Iberia, and Rylan Landry of New Iberia; sister, Corey Landry of New Iberia; step-grandmother, June Inzerella of New Iberia; niece, Averi Andrews of Lafayette; aunts, Barbara Miller of New Iberia, Sue King and husband Lynn of Manhattan, KS, and Ruth Babineaux and husband Gordy of New Iberia; uncle, Eric Landry and wife Samantha of Pensacola, FL; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kyle June Burchfield Landry; paternal grandparents, Simon and Avia Landry; and maternal grandparents, Clell and Johnnie Burchfield.
Pallbearers will be Ivan Miller, Bob Beyt, Beano Prudhomme, Gordy Babineaux, Paul Poche, and Jean Paul Richard.
