VIEW HORSE DRAWN CARRIAGE VIDEO Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Abel James "Jim" Blanchard, 62, who died Saturday, April 28, 2007 in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Allen Breaux, associate pastor of St. Bernard Church, will conduct the service. Survivors include his wife, Judy C. Blanchard, of Parks; his father, Abel Blanchard and his wife, Edith, of Parks; his son, Torey J. Blanchard and his wife, Allison, of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Dana Calais and her husband, Chris, of Cecilia, and Susan Addison and her husband, Kenneth Addison, Jr., of Breaux Bridge; his brothers, Howard, Leroy, Whitney, Leland, and Carroll Blanchard, all of Parks and Harris Guidry, of Parks; and his grandchildren, Jordan and Amber Addison, Brielle Blanchard, all of Breaux Bridge and Ryi, Jansen, and Hagen Calais, of Cecilia. He was preceded in death by mother, Edna G. Blanchard; and his grandson, Brylin Blanchard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service.
