Broussard - Funeral services will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Our Savior's Church in Broussard, for Abigail Ivette Vasquez, 13, who passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Lafayette General Medical Center. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Our Saviors Church on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 4 pm until time of service. Abigail was a student at Paul Breaux Middle School. She has been involved in the French Immersion Program since Pre-Kindergarten and was enrolled in the Gifted and Talented Art Class. Abigail was a sweet and loyal friend to many and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Abigail is survived by her parents, Johnny and Sayonana Balado Vasquez of Breaux Bridge; ;two brothers, Elias Vasquez and Legend Vasquez; her sister, Zoei Vasquez; ;her maternal grandmother, Mirta Harris and her husband, Ron, of Lawton, OK; and her maternal grandfather, Milton Balado of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.
