Achilles J. Latiolais

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 13, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Achilles Joseph "Dahling" Latiolais, 66, who died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Latiolais served in the U.S. Army from December 1961 ~ December 1964. He loved duck and squirrel hunting and the casino was a special pastime for him to have fun. Survivors include one son, Kelly Latiolais and his wife, Brandi of Henderson; two daughters, Melanie Baumery Landry of Henderson, and Lanelle L. Urias and her husband, Frank Urias, Jr. of Plano, TX; four brothers, Leroy Latiolais of Nina, Darrell Latiolais of Henderson, Danny Latiolais of Loreauville, and Tony Latiolais of Henderson; four sisters, Laura Bosenbery of MI, Evelyn Kidder of Cecilia, Georgia Thibodeaux of Henderson, and Clarine "Cat" Flaherty of Cecilia; five grandchildren, Lance Landry of Cecilia, who is in the Navy and stationed in Jacksonville, FL; Jaida Urias, Ashley Urias, both of Plano, TX, Shaelyn Guidry of Henderson, and Zoie Latiolais of Henderson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Anne B. Latiolais; his parents, Lionel and Loula Devillier Latiolais; and his brothers, Albert "Go You" Latiolais, L.J. "Mike" Latiolais, and Warren "Bob" Latiolais. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening. In lieu of flowers family request that donations be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Suite 200, Lafayette, LA 70503-3240. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
