Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, in Breaux Bridge, for Adam Joseph, 84, who died on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Amelia Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Mr. Joseph enjoyed playing cards and gardening. Survivors include three sons, Junius John Joseph and his wife, Barbara, Wilbert Joseph and his wife, Joyce, all of Cecilia, and Herbert Joseph and his wife, Veronica, of Marroguin; three daughters, Margaret Davis and her husband, Clifton, Jr., Elizabeth Johnson and her husband, Robert, Sr., and Rita Joseph, all of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Alice Noel, of St. Martinville; 31 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mercedes Calais Joseph; his parents, Gabriel and Elizabeth Valley Joseph; and one brother, Rodney Isaac Joseph. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pallbearers will be Herbert Joseph, Wilbert Joseph, Junius Joseph, Robert Johnson, Jr., Daniel Johnson, and Aaron Johnson. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
