Adeline Hebert

Catahoula - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., on Friday, October 7, 2011, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula, for Adeline Guidry Hebert, 73, who passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Fr. Richard Fabre will officiate at the funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Pete Guidry and Tiffany Trosclair. Gift Bearers will be Pete Guidry and Mattie Hebert. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Mrs. Hebert was the co-owner of Catahoula Crawfish all of her life. She was an avid sports fan of the Atlanta Braves and the New Orleans Saints. Adeline enjoyed spending time with her family and treasured the many moments she could spend with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, James Hebert of Catahoula; her son, Scott Hebert and his wife, Carol 'Tiny' of Catahoula; her daughter, Arlene Breaux and her husband, Charlie, of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren, Courtney Breaux of Corona, CA, Grant Hebert and Mattie Hebert, both of Catahoula; one brother, Terry Guidry and his wife, Rene, of Catahoula; and two sisters, Linda Bourque and her husband, Jules, of Cade, and Vel Judice of Loreauville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Euna Cormier Guidry; a granddaughter, Chelsie Breaux; and her brother-in-law, Van Judice. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Dion Hall in Catahoula from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Rosary will be recited by Deacon Harris Bergeron at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
