Adolph John Stelly

Cecilia - A Mass will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for A.J. "Cabri" Stelly, 57, who passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, and will resume on Wednesday at 7:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Rev. Michael Champagne, CJC will officiate at the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville. Adolph loved to trail ride and ride horses. He was an excellent mechanic and welder and was very dedicated to his work. He loved to teach others and share his wisdom. Adolph enjoyed spending time playing dominoes and cooking with his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Timothy Pousson and Brittney Pousson; siblings, Edward (Odile) Stelly, Mary Grace Guidry; and 4 grandchildren, David Fruge, Christina-Marie Pousson, Rebekah Pousson, and Audrey Pousson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Hilda Stelly Berard; father, Joseph Cleveland Stelly; brother, Lawrence Stelly; and godfather, Donna Dieu Guidry. Pallbearers will be Frank Lee Stelly, Gary Bordelon, Brad Guidry, Todd Stelly, Chris Guidry, Gregory Stelly, Cy Guidry and Perry Stelly. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Beal, Perry Angelle, Donald "Don" Guidry, Jonathan Robin, and David Fruge.
