Loreauville - Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM, on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Alan Vaughn Rini, Jr., 38, who passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, in Lafayette.
A gathering of family and friends will be at First Presbyterian Church of Bayou Blue, 3200 Hwy. 316, Gray, LA 70359, on Saturday, September 10, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. Visiting will resume at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia on Sunday, September 11, from 12:00PM until 4:00PM.
Bro. Felton Hogan will officiate.
Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery at a later date.
A loving husband, father, son, and brother, Alan Vaughn Rini, Jr. was born in Lafayette, LA on February 6, 1978 to Alan Sr. and Dale Rini. He attended H.L. Bourgeois High School in Gray, LA. He was a certified welder, and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, gardening, and barbecuing. Alan was a loving and caring man who shared his many talents, and he will be deeply missed.
Alan is survived by his wife, Denise Kibbe Rini; son, Alan Vaughn Rini, III; daughters, Alicee' Ann Rini, and Angelle Marie-Ann Rini; his parents, Dale B. and Alan V. Rini, Sr. of Loreauville; brother, David A. Rini and wife Emily B. Rini of Thibodaux; maternal grandmother, Mary Bergeron of Bayou Blue; nephews, Rhett Rini of Thibodaux, Samson Price of Lafayette, Henry Kibbe, Elijah and Ashtyn Hardy, Drake Norris, and Yusuf and Mohamed Labiedh; nieces, Safiya and Mariam Labiedh; godmother, Ruby Eschete; aunt, Judith Barbera of Loreauville; uncles, Samson Bergeron, Jr. of Bayou Blue, and John Rini, Jr. of Alexandria, VA.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Angel Marie Rini, sister, Bethany Alicee' R. Price, grandparents, Samson Bergeron, Sr., and Edna and John Rini, Sr.; uncle, Eric Rini, godfather, Cecil Eschete, aunt, Joyce Marcel.
