Albert LeMaire

New Iberia - Albert 'Al' Leon LeMaire, Jr., 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Al's wishes will be honored and no services will be held. Please remember him in your prayers. Born on Friday, August 3, 1934, Al was the son of the late, Albert LeMaire, Sr. and Jessie Lillian LeMaire. He was a 1952 graduate of New Iberia High School and attended SLI, currently known as UL. Al proudly served our country in the US Army and US Coast Guard. Al was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Lydia, the Lafayette Art Association and the New Iberia Woodworkers Guild. He was a past member of the L'ACADIAN Art Guild. Survivors include his sister, Ann L. Morgan of Brenhan, Texas; his nephews, Bill Morgan, his wife, Liz and their son, Ben of St. Francisville, Jerry Morgan, his wife Kim and their daughters, Emily, Mackenzie and Madison of Bellville, Texas; his cousin Janet Mills, her husband Pete of Lincoln, Nebraska.
