Aldes Paul Migues, Jr.

New Iberia, Louisiana- A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Aldes Paul Migues, Jr., 68, who passed away in Lafayette.

Interment will be at a later date.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home.

A native of New Iberia, Aldes was born March 30,1954 to the late Aldes Paul Migues, Sr. and Anna Mae Morvant Migues. He followed his passion working as a landscaper. Aldes loved the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, music and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed ice cream and Cajun food, especially boudin and gumbo.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Matthews Migues; children, Brandon Alton Migues, Sr. (Shavaun Miller), Jennifer Gillihan (Ryan), Monica "Naya" Dribinski (Vladimir) and Eugene Bergman (Jennifer); step-son Joseph "Joey" Wesner (Stephanie); siblings, Eugene Migues, Madeline Monceaux, Brenda Romero (Milton E. Watson), Wanita Ransonet (Cliff), Dolores Thibodeaux (Kenneth), Judy Migues and Charlene Prejean (Jason); 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Minos Miguez, Edmond Migues, Vernice Delahoussaye and Cheryl "Tanny" Migues; godchild, Chantel Ransonet Rabeaux.
