New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Nicholas Catholic Church for Alfred Bouy, Jr., 63, who passed away Wednesday morning Aug. 16, 2006, at his residence.

Entombment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum.
The Rev. Richard Fabre, pastor of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, will be the celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Readers will be Cathy Lambert and Aaron Carbo. Giftbearers will be Marsalla Bejar and Angela Grubbs.
A native of New Iberia, Alfred was the son of Alfred Bouy, Sr. and Ethel Mae Conrad Bouy. His passions in life were hunting, fishing, watching sports and most of all spending time with his family. He was always there to lend a helping hand, whatever the task you could always count on Alfred. A loving husband, father, grandfather and a true friend, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife Evelyn Romero Bouy; sons, Justin Bouy, Jonathan Bouy and his wife Brandy and Joshua Bouy, all of New Iberia; brother, Jules Bouy and his wife Lori of Kingsport, TN; sister, Judy Bouy Carbo and her husband Glen of Lafayette; granddaughter, Brook Ashlee Bouy and a grandson due in December.
In addition to his parents, Alfred is preceded in death by his grandparents; Emile & Floresca Bouy and Peter & Amanda Conrad.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Pellerin Funeral Home from 2 pm until 9 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm this evening. Visitation will continue Friday at 8 am until 11:30 am.
Honored to serve as pallbearers; Frank French, Glen Carbo, Aaron Carbo, Gary Youngblood, Thomas Seely, Johnny Seely, Kenneth Bouy and C.L. Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Bayard, Andrew Carbo, Donald Bayard, Baron Bayard, Jerry Seely,David Bouy and Ted Lambert.
