Alice Alleman

Cecilia- Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Alice Angelle Alleman, 84, who passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Brittany Quebedeaux, Kylie Guidry, and Stephanie Perfitt. Gift bearers will be Rachelle Stelly, Chloe Miller and Lindsey Melancon. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Survivors include her son, Louis Alleman, Jr. and wife, Betty, of Baytown, TX; six daughters, Linda Hickenbottom and husband, Thomas, of Baldwin, MI, Patty Dejean and husband, Roger of Breaux Bridge, Darlene Latiolais and husband, Kevin of Cecilia, Stella Pugh and husband, Richard, of Shelby, NC, Sheri Guidry and husband, Marty, of Nina, and Shantel Phillips and husband, Chester, of Jeanerette; three brothers, Joseph Oswald Angelle and wife, Jane, of Lafayette, Adley Angelle, and George Angelle and wife, Emily, all of Cecilia; 25 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Alleman, Sr.; her daughter, Neita Alleman; her son, John Alleman; a grandson, Monny LaGrange; her parents, Marcena and Agnes Berard Angelle; four brothers, Sidney, Jim, Addie, and Jules Angelle; and one sister, Agnes Hebert. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. on Tuesday and continue until 3 p.m. on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Anthony Ricky Quebedeaux, Kevin Alleman, Nathan Alleman, Thomas Hickenbottom, Jr., Roger Dejean, Randall Dejean, Jonathan Pugh, and Jared Alleman.
