Alice Joyce Latiolais

Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Monday, August 6, 2012, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Alice Joyce Hardy Latiolais, 79, who passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10 am until 10 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 7 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Keenan W. Brown will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Mrs. Latiolais enjoyed the art of making beautifully hand-crafted quilts, which are today considered to be family heirlooms. She occasionally loved getting together with her family and friends to enjoy a good game of cards. Alice loved her family unconditionally - they were the pride and joy of her life - and she looked forward to family gatherings on any given occasion. She is survived by her son, Harold Latiolais of Arnaudville; three daughters, Elaine Latiolais of Mississippi, Bonnie Rudolph of Eunice, and Lisa Richard of Arnaudville; two brothers, Wade and Louis Hardy, both of Arnaudville; three grandchildren, Shelly Dupr, Michelle Meaux, and Chris Robin; eight great grandchildren, Lexie Meaux, Courtney Meaux, Jazmin Meaux, Gabrielle Meaux, Kristina Meaux, Jase Sam Dupr, Tori Dupr, and Kaden Dupr. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Samuel J. Latiolais; her parents, Luke and Bunice Wiltz Hardy; one sister, Agnes Castille; and three brothers, Harold, Murphy, and Raymond Hardy. Pallbearers will be Kristopher Meaux, Chris Robin, Travis Hardy, Bubba Aucoin, James Kainer, and Tommy Raynaud. Honorary pallbearer will be her son, Harold Latiolais.
