Alice Marie Sanderford

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Alice Marie Anding Sanderford, 87, who passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016, in New Iberia. Interment will be at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 9:30 AM until 2:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home. A longtime resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Sanderford was born on June 21, 1929 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Martin and Myrtis Durr Anding. She enjoyed dancing, music, and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughters, Jo Ann Leleux and husband William "Billy" Leleux of New Iberia, Alice Darlene LeBlanc and husband Weber "Johnny" LeBlanc of New Iberia, Elizabeth Susan Burrell of New Iberia; brother, James Anding and wife Bonnie of Cecilia; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ed Rufus Burrell, and Homer Sanderford, Jr.; son, Eddie Dale Burrell; brother, Willie Anding; sisters, Lydia Mae "Coot" Durr, Lillian Case, and Mildred Sandford.
