Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Alida Courville Richard, 68, who died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Doctors Hospital in Opelousas. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Lucien Richard, Sr. of Arnaudville; four sons, Lucien Richard, Jr., and his wife, Barbara of Leonville, Martin Dale Richard and his wife, Belinda of Arnaudville, John Davis Richard, Sr., and his wife, Monica of Maurice and Joseph Thomas Richard, Sr., and his wife, Resa of Arnaudville; three daughters, Dee Anna Guidroz and her husband, Robert, Sr. of Port Barre, Mary Ann Hardy and her companion, Russell Franks of Moreau and Diane Richard of Delcambre; four brothers, Louis Courville, Alexon Courville, Orelie Courville and Simon Guilbeau; five sisters, Dot Noel, Mary Bergeron, Theresa Legrange, Agnes Savoie and Marie Broussard; twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, David Richard, Sr.; her parents, Orelie and Theresa Courville; and two sisters, Rena Vincent and Aunt Sis. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9 AM on Monday and continue until time of service on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 6 PM Monday evening. Pallbearers will be Lucien Richard, III, Robert Dale Guidroz, Jr. Joseph Thomas Richard, Jr., John Davis Richard, Jr., Willis Bourque, Timmy Hardy, Lyn Franks and Derek Paul Richard. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
