Coteau Holmes- Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Coteau Holmes Fellowship Church in Coteau Holmes, for Alida Marie Hayes Veronie, 54, who passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 am until 1:45 pm on Wednesday at the Coteau Holmes Fellowship Church, 1035 Bayou Portage Rd., St. Martinville, LA 70582. Pastor Michael Robicheaux, Sr. will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. Alida loved music and reading her Bible. She adored her son and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband David Veronie; her mother, Barbara Noel and husband, Leroy; her son, Renee Hayes and wife, Shana; her brothers, Lanny Hayes and wife, Janice, Eric Hayes and wife, Cheryl, Jimmy Noel and wife, Karen, and Kenneth Noel; her sisters, Marilyn Robichaux and husband, Paul, and Crystal Sedatol; her granddaughter, Destinee Hayes; and her grandsons, Kolbie Hayes and Jude Hayes. She is preceded in death by her father, Jeffery Hayes, Sr.; and her brothers, Carl Hayes and Jeffery Hayes, Jr. Pallbearers will be Alton Hayes, Kolbie Hayes, Lanny Hayes, Eric Hayes, Issac Hayes, and Anthony Hayes.
