Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia for Aline Margaret Brown, 65, who passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 11:30 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at a later date. Aline had a loving, caring, and nurturing heart that loved to care for all the children in her family. Each niece and nephew held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed cooking, going to the casino, and being around the ones she loved. Aline will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Jones; brothers, Joseph Brown, Jr. and James Brown and wife Geneva; nieces, Mena Lemelle, Cherie Brown (Joseph Richard), and Jennifer Landry (Shannon); nephews, Ambrose C. Martin (Barbara), Michael Brown, and Kevin Joseph Brown; and a host of great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Amy Cormier Brown, Sr.; brother, John Brown; brother-in-law, Calvin E. Jones; and sisters-in-law, Doris A. Brown and Orelia Brown. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of Aline's caregivers for the love and care given to her during her time of need.
