Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Allen James "Breaux" Devillier, 49, who died Saturday, April 14, 2007. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Allen Breaux will conduct the funeral service. The reader will be Betty Guidry, and the gift bearers will be Michelle Quebedeaux and Ali Devillier. Allen's favorite past-time was cooking and he loved to barbecue. He enjoyed spending time at the camp fishing. Survivors include his parents, Ravis and Maureen G. Devillier of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Johnny Devillier and his wife, Kristin; his sisters, Tammy Devillier, and her companion, David Menard, Gerri Quebedeaux, and her husband, Charlie, and Susan Coycault and her husband, Damon, all of Breaux Bridge; four nieces, two nephews, and two great nieces. He was preceded in death by his companion, Helen Daly; his maternal grandparents, Amilcar Gravouia and Coralie Melancon; and his paternal grandparents, Wade Devillier and Bertha Latiolais. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Pallbearers will be Damon Coycault, David Menard, Kenneth Coycault, Brandon Quebedeaux, Horace Guidry, and J. C. Guillot. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Quebedeaux, Ricky Devillier, Ken Devillier, and Kurt Guidry. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
