Allen Lee Doucet, Sr.

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Allen Lee Doucet, Sr., 69, who passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until time of service on Friday. Rev. Jessie Charpentier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Allen was born in Jennings, LA to the late Albert, Sr. and Agnes Seilhan Doucet. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and was a lifetime member of the VFW. Allen was a proud and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an auto mechanic for all of his working life. Allen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his son, Allen Lee Doucet, II; daughters, Sarah LaFleur, and Ashley Doucet Taylor and husband Craig; grandchildren, Trista, Micha, Bret, Aaron Joseph "Joey", Leslie, Lillian, Shelby, and Faith; brothers, Ronald and Albert "Bert" Doucet, Jr.; and his sisters, Veronica Langley, Elsie Renolds, and Elizabeth Burleigh. He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Theresa Doucet; father, Albert Doucet, Sr.; mother, Agnes Seilhan Doucet; and brother, Alfred Doucet.
