BreauxBridge - Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Allen Bruce 'Big A' Fontenot, Jr., 66, who passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012... The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2012 until service time at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge. Allen loved fishing, playing pool, watching golf and was a LSU fan. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was known for his kindness and being a very simple man. Survivors include his wife, Barbara 'Bobbie' White Fontenot of Greenwell Springs, LA; his mother, Lucille McManus of Liberty, TX; his son, Michael Fontenot of Liberty, TX; his daughter, Christine (Chad) Boyer of Basile, LA; his step daughter, Denise (Brock) Kwiatkowsky of Marietta, GA; his sister, Melyne (Tom) Weddle of Porter, TX; his three grandchildren, Slade, Elisabeth and Quinn; his step grandchildren, Zane Kenzie; and numerous nieces and nephews that loved their Paw Paw 'Thanks for taking us fishing!'. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Bruce Fontenot, Sr. Pellerin Funeral Homeof B reaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
