Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Allen Edgar "T-Noon" Goulas, 88, who passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday and continue at 10:00 am until 1:30 pm on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Paul J. LaFleur will officiate at the funeral service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Allen Edgar Goulas, affectionately known as 'T-Noon' was the 16th of 17 children born to the union of Edgar and Alzire Roberts Goulas. He lived in the community of Poche Bridge all of his life. In his younger years he worked at J.C. Tauzins station. A pastime and enjoyment of his was to walk to Poches and joke around with the customers. 'T-Noon' loved cutting his grass and sitting on his porch waving at the people passing by ;in their cars. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is survived by his sister-in-law and devoted caretaker, Ida Goulas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sixteen siblings. Pallbearers will be Eddie Goulas, Ross Goulas, C.J. Goulas, James Knott, Rocky Richard, and Guy Champagne. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
