Cecilia - Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, for Allen J. Hebert, 69, who passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, and continue on Wednesday at 7:00 am until 12:30 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Allen is a graduate of Cecilia High School, class of 1964. He served in the LA National Guard. The family wishes to thank Acadian Ambulance, St. Martin Hospital, Lafayette General Hospital, St. Agnes Home, especially Autrey Champagne. He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry (Bea) Hebert, Larry (Betty) Hebert and Gerald (Jan) Hebert; sister and brother-in-law, Mary H. (Honore') Angelle; brother in law, Autrey Champagne; and godchild, Danny (Champ) Champagne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Hebert; mother, Alta Bergeron Hebert; sister, Margaret Madge Champagne; nephew, Andy L Hebert; great-niece, Mia Champagne and great nephew, Jackson Fitzmorris. Pallbearers will be Kirk Thibodeaux, Danny Champagne, Cody Champagne, Brandon Champagne, Beau Champagne, and Kyle Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Harry, Larry, and Gerald Hebert, Autrey Champagne and Honore' Angelle.
