St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Allen Joseph Judice, 97, who passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019, at Consolata Nursing Home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm on Tuesday.
A rosary will be prayed at 12:00 pm on Tuesday by Deacon Durk Viator.
Rev. Bill Melancon will officiate at the Funeral Mass. The reader will be Gracie Latiolais. Gift Bearers will be Brooke Dugas and Kenzie Dugas.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Mr. Allen honorably served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He cherished moments spent with his loved ones. As a pastime, he enjoyed going fishing.
He is survived by his son, Mark Allen Judice and fiancée Michelle Camacho of Franklin; his daughter, Sheryl J. Latiolais and husband Francis of St. Martinville; brother, Leonard Judice of New Iberia; sister, Sadie Olivier and husband Patrick of St. Martinville; 6 grandchildren, Bryan Latiolais and spouse Roberta, Nikki Dugas and spouse Kim, Dana Latiolais and spouse Stephanie, Kent Latiolais, Lyndsay Degeyter and spouse Jarred, and Victoria Degeyter and spouse Jacob; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Gardemal Judice; father, Enoe Judice, Sr.; mother, Yolande Wiltz Judice;
brothers, Harold Judice, Enoe Judice, Jr., Paul Judice, and Johnnie Judice; sisters, Marietta Prince, Pauline Judice, Mary Rose Olivier, and Audrey Judice; daughter-in-law, Lynne Viator Judice; and two great grandchildren, Angelica Grace Degeyter and Isaiah Paul Degeyter.
Pallbearers will be Dru Dugas, Ty Dugas, Layne Latiolais, Alec Latiolais, Jayce Latiolais, and Jacob Degeyter.
Honorary pallbearer will be Thomas Latiolais.
The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Consolata Nursing Home for the care and attention given to Mr. Judice during his time of need.
