Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Allen Joseph Noel, 82, who passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Stephen Pellessier will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Reader will be Jalyne Landry. Gift bearers will be Tara Noel and Christy Joseph. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Allen was born April 18, 1936 in Arnaudville. He enjoyed going to the casino to gamble and trying his luck with lottery tickets. Allen enjoyed spending his afternoons sitting under his carport visiting with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Landry and husband Timothy and Juanita Johnson; brother, Adley Noel; sisters, Hilda Martinez, Rose Noel, Vergie Green and husband Louis, and Barbara Joseph and husband Larry; grandchildren, Kendall Noel, Kristy Joseph, Kimberly Augillard, Brittney Landry, Yolanda Moore, Tara Noel, Shelly Domond, and Chasity Noel; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Narry and Beatrice Calais Noel; son, Ricky Noel; sisters, Velma Broussard and Rita Solomon; and ex-wife, Shirley Noel Williams. Pallbearers will be Darren Martinez, Cornelius Martinez, Eric Jackson, Reggie Noel, Demetrius Joseph, and Dominque Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be Adley Noel, Kendall Noel, Timothy Landry, Jaylon Anderson, Jordan Anderson, Louis Green, Larry Joseph, Alfred Tolliver, Loggis Sampy, and Joseph Calais.
