Allen Olivier

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2005, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Allen Joseph Olivier, 60, who died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in St. Martinville. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mr. Olivier was a member of the A.A.R.P. and the Woodmen of the World. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Copp Olivier of St. Martinville; his son, David Allen Olivier and his wife, Melanie of St. Martinville; his daughter, Patricia Olivier Landry and her husband, T. J. of St. Martinville; his sister, Helen Bourgeois and her husband, Darrel of New Iberia; and three grandchildren, Cassie Landry, Tori Olivier, and Kylie Olivier. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Olive Crochet Olivier; and his brother, Alton Olivier. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
