New Iberia - Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Alma Jean Fruge Hernandez, 76, who passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014, in Lafayette. Deacon Theo Landry will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 9:30 AM until 3:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM Saturday. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Hernandez of Youngsville, LA; three sons, Randy "Bud" Hernandez of Greenwood, IN, Russ J. Hernandez of Breaux Bridge, LA, Rick Fruge of Mobile, AL; brother, Acey Fruge and wife Dianna of New Iberia, LA; 10 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Acey John Fruge, Sr. and her mother, Daisy Mae Foster Fruge. Pallbearers will be Ramsey Theriot, Reggie Theriot, Rick Fruge Jr., Steven Fruge, Seth Fruge, Russ Jason Hernandez Jr., and Troy Fruge. Honorary pallbearers will be Shaylee Hernandez, Paige Hernandez, and Kathryn Hernandez.
