VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Alma Miller Stelly, 99, who passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at her residence in Arnaudville. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Rev. Kennan Brown, pastor of St. John Francis Regis Church, will conduct the services. Readers will be Carl Stelly , Emily Miller and Thomas Stelly. Jenni Olivier, Lanie Stelly and Taryn Arnaud will serve as gift bearers. Mrs. Stelly loved to crochet and tend to her flowers. She enjoyed traveling, Friday night bingo and daily praying. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her sons, Louis Stelly, Jr. of Arnaudville, Lee Stelly and his wife, Eva, Earl Stelly and his wife, Lena, all of Leonville, Willie James Stelly and his wife, Viola of Arnaudville, John Calvin Stelly and his wife, Cathy of Youngsville; her daughters, Velma "Sis" Olivier and her husband, Leroy, Grace Marks and her husband, Louis, Doris Richard, all of Arnaudville; her brothers, Herbert and Roger Miller both of Arnaudville; her sisters Louella Dekerlegand of Arnaudville and Elda Robin of Port Barre; 29 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helene Arnaud Miller; her husband, Louis Stelly; her son, Joseph Stelly; her grandson, Donald Marks; her great grand-daughter, Kayla Stelly; her daughter-in-law, Jesselyn Stelly; her son-in-law, George Richard; her brothers Gerald, Carroll and Willard Miller; her sisters, Alida Ray, Lillian Hebert, Louise Arnaud, Edna Miller and Emelie Miller. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.on Monday. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, David Stelly, Robert Stelly, Michael Marks, Wesley Olivier, Phillip Stelly, John C. Stelly, Jr., Gregory Richard and Bryan Stelly. Honorary pallbearers will be Bonita Lee, Carla Comeaux, Pamela Arnaud, Lori Duplechin, Phyllis Stelly, Angie Olivier, Jacqueline Stelly, Brandi Brasseaux, Kristine Cotton, Joey Stelly, Billy Stelly, Lee Stelly, Jr., Lynn Stelly, Chad Stelly, Keith Stelly, Randy Olivier, Carl Stelly, Kevin Stelly, Timmy Stelly, Peter Stelly and Thomas Stelly.
