Alton Sr. Landry

Alton Landry, Sr., 85, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. A resident of St. Martinville, Alton was a beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing the banks along the Teche and sharing his fishing stories with the youth. Alton will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special thanks to Alton Landry, Sr. and hospice. He is survived by his daughters, Jacklyn Patterson and husband Troy, Bridgett Joseph and husband Barton, Theon Bertrand and husband Wilfred, and Regie Landry; sons, Alton Landry, Jr., and Jack Landry; brother, Eulgere Landry and wife Lola; sister, Melba Porter; sister in law, Gert Landry; grandchildren, Jasmine Skipper, Ashton Singleton, Jonathan Skipper, Jeremy Skipper, Lester Rochon, Brandon Simon, JaLisa Landry, Dylon Bertrand, Blair Joseph, and Barton Joseph; great grandchildren, Neco, Marley, Aaliyah, Jeremiah, and Harmony. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Landry; mother, Eldora Landry; wife, Gloria A. Landry; sister, Anita Landry Mallery; brothers, Aristille and Camille Landry.
