Alton Landry, Jr.

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, March 11, 2019, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Alton Landry, Jr., 61, who passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Monday. Rev. Michael Sucharski, SVD will officiate at the Funeral Service. Alton was born September 11, 1957 in Lafayette. He was a resident in St. Martinville and enjoyed fishing, telling stories to make others laugh, and being with his family and friends. Alton's famous words were, "Life is real simple." He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his daughters, Ashton Singleton and husband Wayne Roberts and Jalisa Anne Landry; sons, Lester Quinton Rochon and Brandon Simon and wife Beth; grandchild, Leah Rochon; sisters, Jacklyn Patterson and husband Troy, Reggie Landry, Bridgett Joseph and husband Barton, and Theon Bertrand and husband Wilfred; and brother, Jack Landry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Gloria Anthony Landry, Sr. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
