Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Friday, May 15, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Alvin Guidry, 74, who passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include his brothers, Gerald J. Guidry and Thomas J. Guidry both of Lafayette; his sisters, Margaret Vincent of Youngsville and Genevieve Guidry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jules and Marie Thevenet Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
