Amelie Borel Green

Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm, on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Amelie Borel Green, 67, who passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm on Tuesday, and continue on Wednesday at 7:00 am until 1:00 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Rev. Bryan Webre will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Sherri Lanclos and Tera Simon. Gift Bearers will be Taylor Green and Prudence Perioux. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Amelie was a member of The Ladies Altar Society and The Class of 1966 Gals Group that had a luncheon once a month. She enjoyed woodworking, arts and crafts, sewing, going to the casino, shopping, gardening, working in her flower beds, and dancing with the love of her life, of 46 years, Mr. Aaron. Amelie will be remembered for that contagious smile that would light up a room when she entered and was the life of the party. She loved her family unconditionally as well as her Cajun Culture. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Green of Breaux Bridge; her son, Dale Green and wife, Tammy of Breaux Bridge; her daughters, Deidre Pulles and husband, Hector of Delcambre and Denise Green of St. Martinville; her brothers, Paul Borel of Cypress Island, Terry Andrew Borel and wife, Mona of Parks, Glenn Borel of Parks, and Mitchel Borel of Parks; her sisters, Ella Mae Vincent and husband, Russell of Parks, Barbara Ann Cade of St. Martinville, Anna Faye Tauzin and husband, Javis of St. Martinville, Inez Berthelot and husband, Vernon of Cypress Island, Claudette Marie Case and husband, Mark of Parks, Roxanne Guidry and husband, Glenn of Breaux Bridge; and her grandchildren, Krystal Rodriguez and husband, Victor, Taylor Green, Faith Pulles, Skylor Green, Hector Pulles, III, Bella Lopez, Jace Degeyter. She is preceded in death by her parents, Evrard and Eunice Douet Borel; her brother, Steven Borel; her twin brothers, Ernest and Kernest Borel; and her granddaughter, Lily Lopez. Pallbearers will be Tanner Wyatt, Nathan Hoskins, Hector Pulles, III, Casey Berthelot, David Green, Dayne Green, Terry Borel, and Paul Borel.
