Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Amy Lynette LeBlanc, 49, who passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her family.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until time of service.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Amy was an inspiration to everyone she met. She loved all of her Facebook friends. Amy enjoyed watching her soap operas, TV shows, such as Law in Order, CSI, NCIS, and watching the Saints football team. She also loved Elvis Presley, all kinds of music, and eating out with her family and friends. Amy will be remembered for her courage, strength, and the love she had for people. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Dugas LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Toni Stelly of Arnaudville and Cheramie LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge; three nephews, Brett LeBlanc, Nicholas Stelly, and Toby Stelly; and one niece, Laney Brewer.
She was preceded in death by her father, James W. LeBlanc, Jr.; paternal grandparents, James W. and Bersie Bijeaux LeBlanc, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Antoine and May Dumatrait Dugas.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Stelly, Toby Stelly, J.C. Dugas, Jim Dugas, Kevin Dugas, and Terry LeBlanc.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brett LeBlanc, Laney Brewer, Gerald and Geraldine LeBlanc, Charlene Champagne, and Randy LeBlanc
