Coteau - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau for Ana 'Lucia' Blaze, 41, who died Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Phoenix, Arizona. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Barry Crochet will be the Celebrant. Gift Bearers include Nicklie Blaze and Lucky Blaze. The readings will be proclaimed by Angelina Blaze and Dylan Guidroz. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 12:15 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 AM Tuesday. Born on December 13, 1971 in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico, and was a resident of Coteau. She enjoyed shopping, reading, cooking, fishing, and being outdoors. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Blaze of Coteau; daughter, Leana Blaze of Coteau; son, Avie Blaze of Coteau; father, Isabal Cruz of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico; grandfather, Eujenio Castro Montes of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico; sisters, Monica Torres, Frezia Elizabeth Lorenzo, both of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico; brother, Carlos Romero of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico; husbands parents, Leroy and Alice Blaze of Coteau; sister-in-law, Angelina Blaze of Lafayette; brothers-in-law, David Blaze and wife Mary of Katy, Texas, Mark Blaze of New Iberia, Adam Blaze and wife Channa of Shreveport; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Castro. Pallbearers include David Blaze, Mark Blaze, Adam Blaze, Taylor Blaze, Torry Blaze, and Dylan Guidroz.
