Andrew John Gautreaux, Jr.

Cecilia - A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 28, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Andrew John Gautreaux, 78, who passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 am on Monday. Fr. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Memorial Service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Andrew honorably served his country in the United States Army as a clerk. He enjoyed gardening, raising small animals, playing his guitar, and distributing rosaries to anyone who requested them. Andrew made his living as a carpenter and was known to be quite a good one. He loved the Lord and lived a simple life. He is survived by his two sisters, Mary Dolores G. (Lanis, Sr.) Belaire of Arnaudville and Anne Marie G. (Earl) Hernandez of Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew John Gautreaux, Sr. and Mary Hebert Gautreaux; and his sister, Nola G.
