Andrew Joseph Arcemont Jr

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Andrew Joseph Arcemont, Jr., 41, who passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, in New Iberia. Interment will follow in the Broussard Cemetery. Rev. Mark Derise will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary, led by the CDA Court Blessed Mother Teresa, will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Andrew was born on November 30, 1974, and worked as an electrician's helper for Versa Tech. He enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the casino, helping people, and chauffeuring family and friends. Andrew will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. Survivors include his parents, Andrew Joseph and Verna Istre Arcemont of New Iberia; daughter, Kaytlin Rae Arcemont of New Iberia; son, Travis Joseph Arcemont of New Iberia; fiance, Iesha Boudreaux of Franklin; sisters, Sheri Arcemont of New Iberia, Paula Arcemont of Coteau, Guyla Bliss of Texas; brothers, Eric Arcemont of New Iberia, Jason Ribordi of Erath, Scott Aucoin of Gibson; grandfather, Whitney Istre of New Iberia; uncles, Sidney J. Istre of New Iberia, Rodney Istre of Delcambre, Anthony Arcemont of Estherwood; aunts, Anna Benoit of Scott, Wanda Valente of New Iberia, Judy Istre of New Iberia, Eveline Carmella of Bayou Louis. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Evelyn Arcemont Lodrige, Andrew Arcemont, and Verna Belle Istre; godparents, Mary Landry and Mack Istre; aunt, Diane Fuselier.
