Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Friday, November 6, 2020, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Andrew LeGrand, 91, who passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Friday. Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Andrew was a teacher for 33 years with the St. Martin Parish School Board. He enjoyed working in the yard and gardening. Andrew will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Helen Latiolais LeGrand; sons, Donald J. LeGrand and Dale (Michelle) LeGrand; daughter, Denice LeGrand (Johnny) Miller; grandchildren, Chase (Tiffanie) Legrand, Trent (Bliss) Legrand, Courtney Miller, Trevor (Caitlyn) LeGrand and Cody Miller; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Antoine LeGrand; mother, Andrea Eddy LeGrand; sisters, Helen L. (Audrey) Burleigh, Marie LeGrand Guidry, and Emily LeGrand; and brothers, Allen LeGrand, Paul LeGrand and Basile LeGrand. Pallbearers will be Dale Legrand, Chase Legrand, Trent Legrand, Trevor LeGrand, Cody Miller and Johnny Miller, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, 211 Berard St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517, (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
