Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Anna Mae Abraham, 89, who passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Tuesday. A Rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Tuesday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Anna Mae enjoyed baking, cooking, cleaning, reading, playing cards with her neighborhood club, and caring for her mother and all those in need. Her family remembers that she would pray 90 rosaries a month. If someone requested prayer through her daughter, she never said no to praying. She will always be remembered as the lady that prayed for everyone. Her daughter remembers her as being a loving mother that always put her first. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Marie Abraham of Breaux Bridge; her brother, Willis Babin and wife Anna Belle of Breaux Bridge; sisters, Audrey Wiltz of Breaux Bridge, Ethel Broussard and husband Dalton of Houston, TX, and Evelyn Clement and husband Walter of Houston, TX; and two grandchildren, Cornell Abraham and Jeremy Abraham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Abraham; her parents, Evain and Armance Wiltz Babin; and her brothers, Milton Babin, Dalfred Dalcourt, and Joseph Babin. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of St. Agnes Nursing Home for the loving care they provided to her during her stay at the home. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, 211 Berard St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517, (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
