Anna Decluet Coleman

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2007, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Anna Marie Decluet Coleman, 90, who died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Survivors include her son, Wilson James Lewis, Sr. of New Iberia; her daughter, Virginia Lewis of St. Martinville; her sister, Josephine Miller of St. Martinville; 6 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennet Coleman; her parents, Theresa N. and Octavie Decluet; her son, Willard Lewis; her daughter, Joanna Lewis; her brother, Jean Batiste Valsin; and her sisters, Viola Valsin, Alice Valsin, Rita Durand, and Lucy Durand. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Pallbearers will be Alcide Hypolite, Jr., Wilson Lewis, Jr., Adolphus Watts, Paul Bonnet, Brownie Durand, Jr., and Michael Bonnet. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Hypolite and Lloyd Derouen. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
