St.Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11 a .m., on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Anna Mae Savoy Jones, 78, who passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at St. Martinville Nursing Rehab in St. Martinville. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Fr. Augustinus Seran, SVD, will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by D'yonne Jones and Gift Bearers will be DeRon Jones, Damian Jones, Tre Jun Jones, and Warren Mallery Jr. Survivors include her husband, Dalton Jones of St. Martinville; a daughter, Donna Mallery; one brother, John MacArthur Savoy of New Orleans ; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Clement Dalton Jones; her parents, Clement and Stella Price Savoy ; a sister, Olena Savoy ; and a brother, Pete Savoy. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the church on Wednesday from 7 a .m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9 a .m. Pallbearers will be Damian Jones, DeRon Jones, Albert Hill, Travis Benjamin, Jeffery Mitchell, and Gary Savoy. Honorary pallbearers will be Sherman Babin, Sr., Sherman Babin, Jr., Joseph George, Edward George, Warren Mallery, Sr., and Roland Porter.
