Anna Chauvin Lee

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Anna Lee Chauvin Lee, 83, who passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at Nativity of Our Lady Cemetery in New Iberia. Father Ed Degeyter will officiate at the funeral service. Anna was retired from the banking industry, where she served as a Vice President. She and her husband enjoyed traveling, fishing, and going to their camp. Survivors include her sister, Ramona Wattigny, of New Iberia; her niece, Sue Dupont and her husband, Daniel, of Parks; a great niece, Lori Gauthier and her husband, Andr; a great nephew, Todd Dupont and his wife, Karen; a great-great nephew, Dru Dupont, and great-great niece, Ella Grace Dupont, all of Parks. She is also survived by ten other great nieces and nephews; and her special friends, Ken and Joyce McClellan, of Youngsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Needham Jackson Lee; her parents, Joseph and Suzanne Salles Chauvin; two sisters, Myrtle Sandoz and Margaret Laperouse; and a brother, J.N. Chauvin. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 12 noon on Monday, August 31, 2009, and continue until time of service. Pallbearers will be Daniel Dupont, Todd Dupont, Andr Gauthier, Eddie Sandoz, and Ken McClellan. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville (337.394.9121) is in charge of arrangements.
