Anna Poirier Menard

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 18, 2005, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Anna Poirier Menard, 88, who died Friday, July 15, 2005 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Survivors include her sister, Mathilia Dore' of St. Martinville; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Menard; her parents, Lucien and Laurence Romero Poirier; her sisters, Donna Chataignier and Amaline Poirier; and her brother, Adelate Poirier. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10 AM ~ 10 PM on Sunday and continue at 10 AM on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM on Sunday.
