Breaux Bridge - A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 am, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge, for Annabelle Benjamin Alexander, 76, who passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:30 am until 10:00 am on Tuesday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Tuesday. Rev. Ugochukwu Jerome Cletus SSJ will officiate at the Graveside Service. She is survived by her daughter, Sue Anne Alexander; sisters, Verna Charles, Mary Benjamin and Rosa (Hypolite) Lagrange; grandchildren, Ladwina (Ted) Gilly, Graylan Joseph Patterson, Marcus Dwayne (Devanee) Simon, Joshua Liahmiah Jenkins, Quinton Joseph Smothers, Quindell Smothers, Dejana Gardner and Terry Lee Junior Gardner; sisters-in-law, Alice Mae Alexander and Margaret Benjamin; nieces, Amma (Nathan) Jenkins, Prenella Gardner, Pamela (Warren) Smothers and Penny Jacobs; and nephew, Troy Patterson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Donald Alexander; father, Junius Benjamin; mother, Madeline Pickney Benjamin; brothers, Anthony Benjamin, Roy Benjamin and Little Junius Benjamin; and sister, Viola Patterson.
