A private memorial service will be held for Annabelle Marie Rivet, 94, who passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center.
Annabelle was a member of the Home Demonstration Club for many of years. She enjoyed painting and making her own ceramics that she would sell at the Petite Maison in St. Martinville. She also enjoyed going to the movies on Friday, bowling, playing bingo and going to the casino which was always at the top at her list.
She is survived by her sons, Claude Rivet of Baton Rouge, Charles Rivet and wife Betty of Berwick, Carl Rivet and wife Jan of Indian Bayou, Carey Rivet and wife Audrey of St. Martinville; daughter, Carol "Chicken" Berard and husband Phillip of St. Martinville; sisters, Dolores Hulin of Lafayette, Anna Mae Gauthier of Lafayette, Maureen Dugas and husband Grady of St. Martinville; grandchildren, Coby Bertrand, Colby Rivet, Caitlin Duplantis, Cary Rivet, Lindsay Jeanty, Kurt Rivet, Jessica Rivet, Rachael Grier, Spencer Rivet and John Rivet; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Rivet; parents, Sosthene and Agatha Edna Hulin; daughter, Lola Lane; siblings, Edora Delahoussaye, Carvis Hulin, Linton Hulin, Sr., and Curlis Hulin.
