Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Annaise ""Nie"" LeBlanc Savoy, 101, who died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Fr. Allen Breaux, associate pastor of St. Bernard Church, will conduct the services.
Mrs. Savoy was a seamstress; she enjoyed designing clothes and crocheting.
Survivors include her son, Whitney J. Savoy, and his wife Rose, of St. Martinville; her daughter, Audrey Eddy, of Houston, Texas; her sister, Ida Guidry, of Breaux Bridge; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Iphis Savoy; her parents, Albert and Elina Degeyter LeBlanc; her stepmother, Vienna Savoy LeBlanc; her brothers, Father Whitney LeBlanc, Stanley, Bruce, Clifton, Albert, Ralph, and Leroy LeBlanc; and her sisters, Earnestine Morvant and Vienna Langlinais.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:30 am until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue at 8:00 am on Tuesday, until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday.
Pallbearers will be Rick Eddy, Randy Eddy, Ryan Sarkies, Mike Sarkies, Randall Price, and Reagan Wilkins.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of St. Agnes Nursing Home for the care given to their mother.
