St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2006, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Anne Berard LaFosse, 84, who died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at her residence. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Baton Rouge. Anne Berard LaFosse was born on March 15, 1922 in St. Martinville, Louisiana. ?She was a graduate of St. Martinville High School and attended Louisiana State University. ?She was an artist, painter and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. ?She resided in Baton Rouge for 50 years before returning to live in St. Martinville in 2000. ? Survivors include her four sons Thomas Marc LaFosse of Lafayette, John Marc LaFosse of Baton Rouge, Paul Marc LaFosse of Chicago, IL and Marc Andre LaFosse of Baton Rouge; her four sisters, Clopha Hebert, Arsene Garbarino, Aurelia Guirard and Eunice Berard; and her five grandchildren, Camille LaFosse Stagg, Clayton Thomas LaFosse, Emily Gayle LaFosse, Olivia LaFosse and Cale LaFosse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alec Marc LaFosse; her parents, Anicet and Aurelia Berard; five brothers, Anicet Berard, Jr., Blanc Berard, Savie Berard, Felix Berard and Adolphe Berard and her two sisters, Louise DeBlanc and Lona Broussard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 am Wednesday, December 20, 2006 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 am Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Thomas Marc LaFosse, Marc Andre LaFosse, Clayton Thomas LaFosse, Cale LaFosse, Philip Stagg and Matt Hebert. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements
