VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Anne Breaux Lajaunie, 90, who passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Southwest Medical Center of Lafayette. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum No. 1 Breaux Bridge. Fr. Louis Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Church, will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Mrs. Lajaunie was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Society. She was a wonderful cook who also loved gardening and working in her flowerbeds. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Warren Lajaunie and his wife, Fran; her daughter, Geralyn L. Miller and her husband, Elton, Jr., all of Breaux Bridge; three brothers, Curley, Melvin, and Calvin Breaux, all of Port Arthur, TX; four sisters, Alta Broussard, of Cecilia, Helen Dugas, of Arnaudville, Juanita Standley, of Port Arthur, TX, and Elsie Domingue, of Lafayette; five grandchildren, Jason and Brannon Lajaunie, and Jeremy, Dawn, and Duane Miller; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Lajaunie; her parents, Donna Dieu and Elada Stoute Breaux; and two brothers, Earl and Ernest Breaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Miller, Jason Lajaunie, Brannon Lajaunie, Duane Miller, Ronald Breaux, and Harris Zerangue. Honorary pallbearers will be Curley, Melvin, and Calvin Breaux. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
