A long-time parishioner of St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, Annette served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, God's House Keepers, and the Come Lord Jesus Group. Her devotion to her faith was matched only by her commitment to her family, as she exemplified the spirit of a loving homemaker whose nurturing heart knew no bounds.
Annette was the ultimate volunteer, tirelessly offering her time and talents to support her children's schools and her community. Her compassion extended to everyone around her; from cooking for her family to helping the elderly, she was always there with a warm smile, an open heart, and a delicious meal.
Annette's greatest passions included tending to her flower garden, bird watching, and cooking and baking with love. She took immense joy in teaching her baking skills to her children and then to her grandchildren. She always ensured that every family member received their favorite meal on their birthday, along with a call to sing "Happy Birthday". The time spent spoiling her grandchildren brought her extraordinary happiness, and she cherished every moment with them.
A lover of Cajun French music, Annette would light up the room with her joyful spirit and her love for dancing. Her infectious laughter and unwavering kindness will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Belinda Olivier (Darrell), Kathleen Roberts (Keith), Jenifer Chautin (Kenneth) and Dawn Quebedeaux; sons, Tony Quebedeaux (Tara), Jason Quebedeaux and Ryan Quebedeaux; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Lloyd C. Quebedeaux; parents, Cleopha Dupuis and Evia Bergeron Dupuis; six brothers, Emile, Alphe, Clerphe, Howard, Simon and Jerome Dupuis; and five sisters, Bernice Calais, Eunice Breaux, Florine Thibodeaux, Margaret Breaux and Suzanne Breaux.
Pallbearers will be Tony Quebedeaux, Jason Quebedeaux, Ryan Quebedeaux, Nicholas Olivier, Travis Roberts and Blaze Quebedeaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Olivier, Micah Roberts, Stephen Olivier, Joshua Roberts, Darrell Olivier, Keith Roberts and Kenneth Chautin.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kirk Elliot and the staff of J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home, dear caretaker, Laura Mistrot, Vital Caring Staff and Karen McFaul and the staff of St. Martin Hospital for their care and compassion to Annette during her time of need.
