Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Annie Joyce Knott, 73, who passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at her residence. Rev. Donald Pousson, will conduct the services. Scriptures will be read by Kisha Kana. Gift Bearers will be Faye Guidry and Karlene Pitre. Entombment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Mausoleum in Arnaudville. Annie enjoyed cooking, camping, and shopping. She also adored her pets. Survivors include her husband, Albert Knott; her daughter, Loretta Knott Brown (Daniel); her sisters, Bertha Landry and Cecile Duplechain; her grandchild, Raven Robicheaux; and her great grandchild, Braedyn Latiolais. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adelma and Melvina Comb Cormier; her son, Joey Knott; her brothers, Gussie and Percey Anthony Cormier; and her sister, Rosita Cormier. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. Tuesday and continue until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited by Georgie Naquin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Jairo Castillo, Ronnie Lagrange, Darrell Olivier, Perry Landry, Bennet Pitre, and Jason Daigle. Pellerin Funeral Homeof Ceciliais in charge of arrangements.
