Anthony 'Tony' Taylor, Sr.

Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:30 pm, on Friday, July 3, 2015, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Anthony Tony Taylor, Sr., 60, who passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday. Fr. Keenan Brown will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Erica Lalonde. Gift bearers will be Roma Angelle, Florence Taylor, and Marla Baumboree. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Tony was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and godfather. He loved fishing with his grandchildren in his homemade pond, and hunting with his sons. He lived life to the fullest and adored his parents. His eyes lit up when he saw his godchildren. He loved raising farm animals; making homemade wine, especially blackberry, and waiting patiently to take a little nip. He is survived by his loving wife Earline Richard Taylor; his parents, Reo and Elsie Bergeron Taylor; two sons, Anthony "T.J." Taylor, Jr. and his companion, Lacey Belaire, and Matthew J. Taylor; three brothers, Kenneth Taylor and wife Sandra, Daniel Taylor, John Taylor, Sr. and wife Mary; three sisters, Roma Angelle and husband Kermit, Florence Taylor, and Marla Baumboree and husband Richard; two grandchildren, Cashmond Kidder and Caydun Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Marshall Taylor, maternal grandfather, Aldus Bergeron, maternal grandmother, Marie Bergeron, paternal grandmother, Odelia Taylor, paternal grandfather, Jerome Taylor, Sr. Pallbearers will be Anthony "T.J." Taylor Jr., Kenneth Taylor, Daniel Taylor, John Taylor Sr., Benjamin Taylor, and Burton Richard. Honorary pallbearers will be Douglas and Ronald Bergeron.
