St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. , on Monday, January 30, 2012 , at Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church in St. Martinville, for Anthony Pierre 'Pete' Theriot, Jr., 75, who passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at his residence. Pastor Jessie J. Charpentier, Sr., Rev. Dor Langley, and Rev. Wallace Primeaux will conduct the services. Interment will follow at First United Methodist Cemetery in St. Martinville. Anthony was employed by St. Martin Land Company for 49 years. ; He was a member of the Tejas Vaqueros for 38 years, American Quarter Horse Association, a Lifetime member for the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show and Nation Riffle Association. Petes hobbies and interest were Quarter Horse Racing, hunting, outdoors, and boat rides in the Basin. He loved taking road trips and spending as much time with his family, his seven grandchildren and numerous friends. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Anna Lois Guillot Theriot; his sons, Anthony Troy Theriot and his wife, Stephanie Blanchard Theriot, and Brady Duke Theriot and his wife, Cari Barras Theriot; his daughters, Kelly Theriot Castille and her friend Stoney Castille, and Dana Lynn Theriot and her fianc, Gary Mayhue; his sister, Betty Theriot Borel; his seven grandchildren, Kayla Lee Castille, Morgan Faith Theriot, Brody Lee Theriot, Kody Daniel Castille, Laine Pierre Theriot, Luke Anthony Theriot, and Sadie Ann Theriot. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Pierre Theriot, Sr. and Lena Davis Theriot; his son, Derek Lee Theriot; his son in law, Kirk Daniel Castille; his brother, Edward Anthony Theriot, Sr.; and his sister, Stella Marie Theriot. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be ShaneVerret, Charlie Carlton, Edward Theriot, Stoney Castille, Lee Gary, and Chuck Judice.
